Our technologies
Every technology we use answers one of two questions: how do we put more ground truth in front of our geologists, and how do we read it better?
Exploration is constrained by data, not by analysis. So we modernize how field data is collected – borrowing from the space, defence, and oil and gas industries, directional drilling and downhole sensing among them – and we build the software that turns it into decisions. We track every relevant innovation: if a tool adds ground truth or sharpens judgment, we test it.
Collecting More Ground Truth
UAV/Drone & Robotics Systems
We are developing drone-based systems for survey and sampling work: reaching ground a crew cannot cover economically, and multiplying the readings and samples collected from every field day. The goal is simple – more ground truth, gathered safely and economically, with a smaller footprint on the land.
Overburden Drilling & Till Sampling
Light equipment – backpack drills and Pionjar-class rigs – recovers basal till and bedrock-interface samples through thick gravel and till cover, with no hydraulic equipment involved. Low impact, no ATI permit in Quebec, simplified prospecting-class permits elsewhere. It is how covered ground goes from blind spot to sampled, mapped target space.
Geochemical Surveys
From till and soil grids to rock and bedrock-interface samples, geochemistry tells us what the ground is made of – and which elements point toward a deposit. We design the sampling, run strict QAQC through the laboratory, and choose the pathfinder elements that fit the deposit story being tested. The wrong pathfinder wastes a season; the right one finds the story.



Seeing Beneath the Surface
Time-Domain Electromagnetics (TDEM)
TDEM detects electrically conductive bodies – massive and net-textured sulphides such as pyrrhotite and chalcopyrite – at depths of 200 to 400 metres. The value is in the design: survey geometry must be coupled to the conductor’s orientation, which is why our structural work comes first. And we supervise acquisition ourselves – quality control happens in the field, not after the fact.
TDEM also operates effectively on frozen ground and snow, decoupling surveys from the short northern field season. We are honest about its limits: graphitic host rocks and low-sulphide systems call for other tools, and we use them.
Turning Data into Decisions
FastDataGeo
Geological data compilation, structuring, and AI analysis. FastDataGeo ingests government databases, historical assessment files, and project data, and turns them into a clean, queryable foundation for targeting.
We use machine learning to find what correlates across geology, geochemistry, geophysics, and remote sensing – and rank targets on convergent criteria. The layers that feed the model are chosen by geologists to fit the deposit story, because a model trained on the wrong layers finds the wrong patterns. Then our geologists do what the model cannot: explain why.
